This is the first monthly summary in the quest for $10,000 a month in revenue. We will be tracking the site growth both in traffic and revenue here on the site growth page. This site is unique, we show you exactly what our progress is towards $10,000 a month. We discuss what we tried, what worked or did not work.

Another test was run to determine how to create a Facebook application (using others services for speed to implementation) and to generate additional Agloco referrals. Original post is here and follow up is here. Here are the results as of 9/26/07:

  • 256 Installations
  • 20 Installations per day (average)
  • 33 Agloco signups
  • $170 spent
  • Cost Per Installation: $.66
  • Cost Per Referral: $5.15

  1. Im not sure if this ‘expert’ is revealing one method he’s using to try to get traffic - paying to get people to Digg the site!

  2. Also the Alexa numbers are completely bogus. The norm is to cite the Alexa 3-month average, and nothing else is specified.

  3. Good point Jim, I changed the Alexa number in the header and in this story to include the 3 month average.

  4. I will list expenses month per month, will include this as others. MTurk is incredible, I did not get what I was hoping for but the result was not bad. It’s a well run, easy and fast to use system. I would prefer if they integrated paypal but as of right now it has to pull funds from your bank account.
